MINUTES OF THE 77th WCNI CYCLING CENTRE INC
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Meeting commenced at 7.00 p.m. Monday 26 April 2010.

Medal Levies for WCNI Championships: (paid to Centre by hosting Club)

Remits to BikeNZ Road and Track (Passed beforehand at WCNI Centre meeting as closing date for remits to BNZ R and T AGM was before our WCNI AGM.)

That the Centre Licence should be eliminated and there be only a junior and senior National License to simplify administration at Club level (similar to the current situation for Junior Licences). Need to review whole licensing system to keep fees as affordable as possible to attract new members.

General Business

WCNI would like to thank New Zealand Community Trust for their grant of $2000.00 to help towards airfares for our team travelling to Invercargill for the NZ Age Group Track Nationals.
Also a big thank you to Pub Charity who have given us the full amount for our teams accommodation down in Invercargill at the 2010 Track National Championships. This is a great financial help for our WCNI team and we are very grateful for these donations.

A discussion took place re the 2010 Track Nationals re the problem of two Championships the Elites and the Age Group Championships this makes twice the work for Centres also BikeNZ changing dates at last moment so riders had to pay more for re booking of airfares and for change of accommodation dates as WCNI had arranged block bookings for both. Our delegates to BR and T AGM need to voice their concerns.

Also our WCNI delegates to bring up for discussion at BR and T AGM should there be just one licence (National) for all riders.
